may i ask the reasoning behind this? i’m so curious!

Beavers have a lot of iron in the outer coating of their teeth to make them super strong, and the iron makes them orange. Since Dryads use their front teeth for the same purpose (chewing through wood) it seemed reasonable that they would also have iron in their teeth, and get the same side effect in the color.

Also because it’s kinda funny. I’m guessing a lot of people are just going to wonder how you stain only two of your teeth and none of the others, and the thought of other characters making the same assumption makes me laugh.
