I tried some other patterns in the clipping mask and something went horribly right.
Reasons I made this: 1. I forgot how to draw my own character WTF 2. Pattern abuse

13: Dime is gay, and mostly unconcerned about orientation beyond irritation with bigotry.
14: She has a few spells-gone-wrong permanently bonded to her, some are benign (the one making her hair stand up) others are less so (one that’s causing her a lot of physical pain). She has very poor eyesight as well.
24: Her area of expertise is spell writing, and one of the funny things about spell writers is they tend to know a lot about history (though filtered through the narrow windows of a given spell’s historical context)
25: She intends to have written more spell books by then, and have more spells that clients would want her to actually install, or else help Bones with potioneering.

Near magic hotspots, things get really wonky.
Bones protects her lungs from magic residue in the air with a respirator when she goes hunting around the hotspot (looking for dead things she might want to collect and preserve, or for raw materials to use in potions). Dime does not wear one, as she has a very high tolerance for magic normally. Even so, forgoing the respirator does not always prove to be a good choice.
