Not really. Agents don’t really do pair bonding, so he has no framework for experiencing romance as its own discrete feeling. Additionally, for the first many years he knew her, he was passing as a stract or magiphage (people around him didn’t know what an Agent was and he never explained), which despite their intelligence, are often perceived as being kind of like children or animals, being sort of simple and innocent. Eleanor started being so affectionate with Parker partly because she simply doesn’t perceive it as having the same meaning.
But they are both very attached to each other.
Not that kind of cat Eleanor, stop staring like that, jeeze.
