Another Crayon Crunch entry, this time it’s of the super talented DimeSpin’s character 112358AR. Ugh I’m too lucky to get this character.. a bee who gets lost in her thoughts, stuck in self-imposed exile. I tried to make the picture look dreamy. I’ve never tried to draw anything on a micro scale before, but I hope DimeSpin enjoys it, it was really a pleasure.

I love it! The colors are gorgeous.Thank you. =D

Dimespin’s Eve for CrayonCrunch!

Look at this. I never know how exactly to describe how pleased I am to see other artist’s takes on my characters, I just kind of want to smile and wave my hands excitedly.

I wanted to do a pair of related characters as on the other books… my three most favourlite characters of yours are Vita, Eve and now Brennan - so I thought about Vita and Sornal or Seekali, or Eve and Autumn man. But I could choose! So in the end, with a little symbolism cheat, I made both.

Oh my goodness I only just now saw this! This is awesome!

bengaly:

ok ok i drew that cássia-imperial guy as one of dimespin’s dryads i hope no one is surprised

also dude stop smiling because i am sure you are ugly even for dryad standards

i am happi tho
you should go see dimespin’s stuff if you have not saw it yet

Aww, what a cutie!

Today I decided to bring my acrylics out again and get a little practice! I chose to make gifts for two of my friends, in the hopes they will lift their spirits a little. Besides, they ended up being similar palettes so I only had to mix one palette for both pieces.
I chose to make digital studies before making the final paintings so I’d know more of what I’m doing than if I just dive right in. Some aspects of the studies turned out better than the finals, but mostly due in part to how small these are. The crow is 3” X 4” and the Autumn Man is 2.5” X 6”.

That image of the Autumn Man is gorgeous and it made me so happy when I saw it!

Dimespin’s characters are all fascinating in their own ways, and Chair is no exception.
This is what happens when I decide to draw starting at 2am.
