Just a quick doodle to figure out a technique.

A little more inking. Didn’t quite have Sornal-style curls out of my system, so I moved on to Enka.

And now, a random inking experiment with Sornal.

When Sornal met Tewarius he had a sore back and was laying on the floor, so on their first meeting, their viewpoints were reversed (Sornal looking up, Tewarius looking down).
He was being a bit melodramatic; he could have always yelled for Enka. Sornal is good at being melodramatic.

Oh. Hi Grandma.

In case you thought The Autumn Man’s troubles with communication was unique to him.

How do genetics work for the Centocutane? With Sornal and Seekali's daughter, I see traits that seem to come from both of them, but also some new stuff, like the beak.

Centocutane have both magical and genetic inheritance, with their physical appearance mostly being magical. But the heart of the matter here is that Vita’s beak isn’t new, it skipped a generation - Sornal’s mother had one.

Here, have a few detail shots from “Drown”

Enka I think there’s a leak there.
